According to Presuhn there were 6 naked warriors, painted in a masterly hand, which he contrasted with the rough painting elsewhere in the house. See Presuhn E., 1878. Pompeji: Die Neuesten Ausgrabungen von 1874 bis 1878. Leipzig: Weigel. (VII, Plate I, p. 5).
