IX.5.9 Pompeii. December 2007. Room 5, ala on east side of atrium. On the walls, the zoccolo was black and the middle zone featured a central yellow panel and red side panels. On the east wall, alternating narrow panels with painted animals were seen on the black zoccolo. In the centre of the middle zone, on the yellow panel, was a painting of Venus, accompanied by cherubs painted in the red side panels.

On the walls, the zoccolo was black and the middle zone featured a central yellow panel and red side panels.
