In the north-west corner can be seen a small window, which was closed by a plaque of terracotta pierced by six small arched openings. The resembled the entrances into a dove-cote.  Many of this type had been found at Pompeii. See Breton, Ernest. 1870. Pompeia, Guide de visite a Pompei, 3rd ed. Paris, Guerin.

In the north-west corner can be seen a small window, which was closed by a plaque of terracotta pierced by six small arched openings.

They resembled the entrances into a dove-cote. Many of this type had been found at Pompeii.
