III.7 Pompeii. 1964.  Looking towards triclinium, only partly excavated earlier by the original excavators in 1954-55. According to Wilhelmina, the masonry triclinium had been well protected and was still covered by the original lapilli. In between the couches was a round masonry table, and to the west there appeared to be a badly damaged rectangular serving table. Originally, all would have been covered with red stucco.

According to Wilhelmina, the masonry triclinium had been well protected and was still covered by the original lapilli.
