On the right is the doorway to area 63. 
Each niche was stuccoed. In the niche 1, on the right, Venus can be seen.
Next to her in niche 2, Neptune can be seen.
Next to him in niche 3 was Fortuna.
In the central niche on this side was a mosaic representing Phrixus and Elle, discovered 30th April 1752, a copy of which can be seen in the photo above.
The original mosaic is now in the Naples Archaeological Museum, inventory number 10005.

On the right is the doorway to area 63.

Each niche was stuccoed. In the niche 1, on the right, Venus can be seen.

Next to her in niche 2, Neptune can be seen.

Next to him in niche 3 was Fortuna.

In the central niche on this side was a mosaic representing Phrixus and Elle, discovered 30th April 1752, a copy of which can be seen in the photo above.

The original mosaic is now in the Naples Archaeological Museum, inventory number 10005.
