According to NdS, the best preserved decoration in this room was on the north wall. It had a black background and the walls were partitioned by architectural concepts. In the panel under the window was an important painting (0.63m high and 0.60m wide).

To the left was a standing Artemis, dressed in a yellow chiton and a green mantle, looking towards the right. On the right of her was a sitting manly figure, his legs covered by a cloak, his feet in sandals. His right foot was resting on a high step of the throne(?), on which he was sitting.
The execution of this painting was very good, but Sogliano deplored the state in which this important painting was found. See Notizie degli Scavi, 1897, (p.32-34)
