Possibly found on a wall near here, and reported 13th December 1787 (PAH I, 2, 40) was a graffito painted in red –   
M(arcum) Pupium aed(ilem)    [CIL IV 142]

According to Fiorelli, near to the posticum was the kitchen and a small storeroom, and the stairs that climbed to the rooms above.
